Luze Mexicano is the latest chapter in the Luis & Lucero Martinez Obregon decades-long journey of bringing authentic Mexican cooking to Atlanta. Every dish on the menu carries a memory, a tradition, a piece of home.

Where the family story begins

In 1995, our family opened their first restaurant in Atlanta — bringing the flavors of their upbringing to a city hungry for the real thing. That first kitchen was a love letter to the family's table, written in masa, chile, and memory.

The antojeria takes shape

Taquería La Luz opened in West Midtown in 2021, then Luze Mexicano found its home inside Halidom Eatery in 2024 — a Mexican Antojeria built around the antojitos that are the soul of Mexican street food and home cooking. Not Tex-Mex, never Tex-Mex.
